Title: Contribute to WOTS content
Post by: Gazmanafc on March 17, 2010, 02:45:16 PM
Well, maybe not so much TCB.

Over the past 11 months or so, I've been developing a new site as to replace TCB & LTBQ. The reason for that is because Character sites are now pretty much dead. So I'm merging the two and changing to a general site instead, though I do have a few surprises in store for it, which I wont go into yet.

But until launch, I'm working on a new episode capsule system that makes lots of use out of MT2. It allows YOU to submit content into them by making simple replies to topics in this board. (except this one, obviously)

You can submit five types of content, Trivia (which is things like freeze frame jokes), Culture References, Allusions to other episodes and shorts, Favourite Quotes and Reviews. For Trivia/Culture/Allusions/Quotes it's a simple matter of making a reply into it's topic, but for a review, currently, you need to go to it's capsule at: http://multitalk2.com/index.php?action=epguide (http://multitalk2.com/index.php?action=epguide), you can also submit the other content types from the capsule as well (especially if there isn't a topic for that content type for the episode you're looking to submit to), for the reviews, you can give episodes a rating of zero if you really hated it that much.

Of course not every episode has been completed yet, and I've only just started on Season 1, so I will be adding more capsules for you to submit content to, but importantly, you should not be able to post new topics in this board, as topic creations are automatic.

And also, any content that I see is off topic will be removed without warning. This will be highly moderated as each post is part of the capsule and are exported into them, thus becoming part of the new sites content.

Enjoy
Gars

The Happy Little Elves are a parody of the Smurfs, aren't they? (This is also their first appearance)

Yes, the Happy Little Elves are a reference to the Smurfs. But 7G01 is not their first appearance, that honour goes to MG37.

I noticed that police chef Wiggums has black hair in the framegrabs for season 1.

That happened quite a lot in the early years. Wiggum's hair was black also in Radio Bart for example, so it lasted until mid-Season 3. Moe's hair was also black, and his apron was pink, Barney's hair was also yellow. You can go ahead and make the replies to the specific capsules if you want, I moved Wiimeisers comment out because 1, it's a question when it shouldn't be, and 2, it's repeated information.

I seldom use framegrabs from the first seasons, because there are many details that has changed. But maybe i scold try to pick some of them out. ;P

Tell me about it. I mean just look at this one, they totally messed up the number of spikes.

How Gabor Csupo could not see anything wrong with that I don't know.

But the nose is also a bit strange. And the number of eye lashes. ;P

If you think Csupo is bad you should see Spumco (Did the work for Ren & Stimpy until Nick Animation took over) they pretty much NEVER drew Ren & Stimpy the same way.

Um, hi there. :)
I noticed you have a common list of arrests, and since I'm a perfectionist, I would like you to add Mr. Burns' arrest in MABF08 (American History X-cellent), Sideshow Bob's arrest(s) in KABF01 (Funeral for a Fiend) and MABF11 (The Bob Next Door), and Mona Simpson's (Homer's mom) arrest in EABF18 (My Mother the Carjacker)

And, I don't know if this counts, but Jack (the painter) arrest in CABF05 (Pokey Mom) and Dwight (the person who robs the bank in this episode) JABF19 (I Don't Wanna Know Why the Caged Bird Sings).

I'm sorry to be a pest, this is my first EVER post here.

I'm aware that some are missing. Particularly those Post Season 13, I'm picky about the quality of the framegrabs so I wont do it for seasons that I don't have on DVD or are of comparable quality. They will be appearing when I create the framegrabs for their episodes.

As for Jack Crowly, his was an oversight, so thanks for pointing out. I'll add him in the next update.

If you find anything else I missed, let me know.

Only two scenes? Just out of curiosity, how many lined did each of the family members have?

Do NOT post questions and general discussion in these topics. These are capsule data topics. They are for information based on the episodes, not to ask questions. The data within the topics gets exported out automatically into WOTS.

All the main family members had plenty of lines, the only one who didn't was Maggie, but even she got a decent about of screentime.

Then list them in order from most to least.

What?

Who, of the four main family members, had the most lines?

I'm not going to total them up. Watch the episode for yourself. Not that it matters to anybody.

That may change as more and more episodes are made. So it may not be worth anything to try to answer that.
Some day when the show is dead, some devoted fan may find out. But i don't really see the reason why.
