MAY 2012

BART SIMPSON: OUT TO LUNCH TRADE
Quote
Hop into the lunch line at Springfield Elementary School for a sweet and savory meal, high in humor and saturated satire. Join Bart Simpson and his pals and gals as they square off for the title of "Class Clown," outwit a robotic custodian run amok, surf both the social network and the school's massive mud puddle, lose their cool, learn the blues, get their groove back, and much, much more! Even if you're brown-bagging it, Bart Simpson: Out to Lunch meets and exceeds your recommended daily allowance for laughs.

I forget which issues are contained. :P

BART SIMPSON #71
Written by Sergio Aragones, Michael Nobori, art by Michael T. Gilbert, John Costanza, cover by Jason Ho, Mike Rote.
Quote
Bart gets his hands on a chemistry set and after a little experimentation he discovers the need for speed! Then, Bart teams up with Nelson to win a contest by making the grossest and loudest video on the Internet. Plus, Sergio Aragones sketches another episode of "Maggie's Crib."

SIMPSONS COMICS #190
Written and art by Carol Lay, cover by Jason Ho, Mike Rote.
Quote
Bart goes from being the best "liked" kid on FacePlace to the kid "most likely to be despised" when an enemy with a score to settle steals his password and his identity on the social network. Will Bart get back at the computer hack?

FacePlace? Seriously? That's just as bad as Springface. Oh, and enough with the Facebook parodies. And what relation does a picture of Homer falling down a manhole while eating a sandwich have to do with Bart's Facebook account getting hacked?

SIMPSONS SUMMER SHINDIG #6
Written by Tony DiGerolamo and various, art by John Costanza and various, cover by Jason Ho, Mike Rote.
Quote
Simpsons summer fun is just around the corner with the annual Simpsons Summer Shindig. First up, Homer is determined to prove his love to Marge by getting a tattoo. Then, newscaster Kent Brockman sets out to restore his journalistic reputation by putting his investigative reporter skills to the test. And they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but Radioactive Man has his hands full when he is besieged by a wave of do-good imitators. And speaking of heroes, Homer, Barney, and Duffman spring into action to save Duff Industries and the secret behind their new special brew.

Hey look, Ivan. It's your favourite artist. :P

Soooo... they decide to use the new Simpsons logo on the Simpsons Comics Confidential trade, but still use the old Bart logo on Out to Lunch? Talk about inconsistency! Really dig the Winter Summer Shindig logo though.

John Costanza?! NOOOOOO!!!!

SIMPSONS SUPER SPECTACULAR  as always look promising. Could be some quite out of the ordinary stories and drawings. The kind of things they can do in the comics, but never in the (real) show.

I also need to do Plasmo some day. His face looks rather easy. :D
And Jessica don't have quite her usual black hair.
Well, must see when it hits the local comic pusher.
