Yes, I did figure that out a little later. But even for a fan movie it makes no sense, especially on the emphasis. At least Rule ⑨ makes sense due to the interdimensional nature of Gensokyo.

My MP3 player locked itself as if to punish me for downloading copyrighted songs. It was either get a giant magnet and erase everything, or throw it against the wall until it broke into pieces, either way, nothing I could do.

Or you could look into diagnosing the problem and fixing it yourself.

Like I did when my H Drive went belly-up. I tried multiple options all ending in failure so I looked up Data Recovery companies, found a few, got some base template quotes, and I dropped it off at one this afternoon at Pall Mall.

Personal note, I want to use this quote:

EDGEWORTH: Did you find anything?
GUMSHOE: Yeah, I was extremely shocked when I looked at my watch and found that I should be in the pub.

With my main computer telling me it may have a hard disk failure, i try to make as much of a backup as i can. And get an old computer up to date, if the worst should happen. ( It hasn't failed yet. But......) You know, you cant live a normal life in Denmark anymore without an internet connection. Everybody wants to use email or something these days.

I don't understand why countries like the United States haven't thought about that yet. I guess new media really is evil...

There are probably great parts of the US where you can only get internet by satellite. And not everybody have a computer. So you would still have to have the old snail mail option.

Looking at my options. It is a RAID 0 system, so it is not just cloning a single drive. Looking in to if i can convert it to RAID 5. And i have to figure out how bad the failing drive is.

He, he. "Fun" story in the news today.
A guy who works with computer stuff and such gets a request from a friend. His computer is apparently infected with a virus.
Computer guy sees there is a virus and try to remove it. The computer goes BSD and they end up reinstalling it all.
A few days later he is contacted by the police. Said computer has been used to make an illegal transfer of money while it was infected with virus. AND he has removing the evidence.
So he has to go to cord as a witness and explain all he has done.

He, he. I once heard a story about a student who actually contacted the author to ask what he meant. But the teacher just told the student that the author didn't know.

Right. In my years, I've seen very few teachers admit that students can actually know better ways of doing the same thing. Each person has a different understanding and interpretation on anything.

In this case, an author doesn't need a reason say the curtains were blue, it's there to help describe the environment, nothing more. Similarly, it's like if I made a theme for SMF with blue colours that would indicate that I'm depressed, I could've did it because it looks good. :P

Too many of my devices are breaking. While waiting for my data to arrive yesterday I wanted to play some Final Fantasy X on my PS2, but I discovered that the up and left buttons on the D-Pad no longer functioned.

While I could use the analog sticks, I don't do that for when I'm inside menus, which is what alot of Final Fantasy games use for selecting attacks and abilities. :P

I've bought a new controller for it. Wireless this time. It's black so I'll need to create some sort of distinction between this new one and my black PS3 controller.

Each of the three controllers I have had some sort of distinction so I could tell the difference visually. Of the two black ones, one had a cable coming out of it while the other didn't. The third, a PS3 controller is blue which I use on my laptop for framegrabbing and playing PS1 emulated games. :P

Once I've cleared my room out, I plan on making a video showcasing my set ups. :P

Heh. I know the feeling. :P And to think that many times we actually entrust our life's in to that devices with silicon chips work when they are supposed to.

On a plane going south: Scrat, scrat. This is your captain speaking. There is a malfunction in the button on the auto pilot that is used for turning the plane right. So in stead of Spain we will be going to Greece.

The U.S. is not only broke but owes more money than there is money on Earth, and is blaming it on piracy.

Note to self, celebratory end of academic year meals don't need to be a mixed kebab and chips. (mixed kebabs contain your choice of three different kinds). :P

But it was totally worth it! :P
