While avoiding the school photo club, Homer, Bart and Lisa see a movie, Left Below, where the rapture occurs, Homer worries that the rapture really will happen. Following a line of signs, Homer predicts that the rapture will happen. When he predicts that the stars will fall to the earth. In a Krusty special, where the Blue Angels fly into the blimp where he is traveling in, all of the celebrities fall to the ground where the townspeople say he predicted the rapture. The townspeople follow Homer to the Springfield Messa. Where it is said that they have go to in order to get to heaven. The hour dawns, but there is no rapture. The town shuns Homer, thinking that he is an idiot. When Homer notices that his calculation is wrong, he re-calculates it and his family wont believe him. He goes there alone and this time he was right. He gets into heaven, but after discovering the torture that his family has to suffer he tries to get them into heaven, but God refuses.
